“Sirius” WDBF U |
Polled moorit spotted twin Dam’s lambing record: (1,2,2) 44% AI; Flekkur, Hnykill, Hunn, Heli, Noi
|
Sirius is the largest ram lamb I’ve seen… In full fleece he appears equal in size to some of our larger mature ewes! He is a cousin of Polaris (also a grandson of Jager’s 194L reserve champ ewe.) Neither of his parents has needed worming in 3 years under FAMANCHA management (Looking forward to saturating the gene pool here in some of that!) Sirius has lots to bring to the table: great size, nice muscling and a soft, full and heavy fleece– a testament to his Noi ancestry! Available after breeding at sale price of $200 until lambs hit the ground in April.

“Polaris” HWF 843U |
Scurred white twin Carries solid or mouflan, could carry spotting, black, moorit Dam’s lambing record: (1,2,2,3,2) 66%AI; Heli, Flekkur, Dalur, Hnykill, Skreppur |
Polaris has quality, quality, quality behind him! He is a grandson of BLW-194L, the 2005 National reserve Champion Ewe and his dam is 1/2 sister to Jager Farm’s star parasite resistant ram: 839R. His dam also has great prolificacy, and has raised triplets without assistance. Polaris has great size and has nice breadth throughout. Great width across the front, too and a solid, straight and wide rear. Spectacular fleece! Available after breeding at sale price of $200 until lambs hit the ground in April.
